Sunday we took it easy. The Jeep was still patially incapacitated. We went out for breakfast, did some"touristy" shopping and generally chilled.
We got a text from Jayme that they were coming back to town early. It seems that their Jeep developed some issues as well and she didn't want to risk a full breakdown on the trail. They offered us a hand with going out to get the belt we needed for our compressor bypass and also a hand at installing it. Soon we had our Jeep back on the move with a big "Thanks!" to Aaron and Jayme. We met with the rest of our group for lunch and decided to meet up at Arches National Park later in the afternoon.
Arches was spectacular especially towards sunset. We didn't go too far into park - only up to Delicate Arch. We got back into Moab quite late. Jayme, Aaron & Sierra decided to go back to their hotel. Jan & I offered to take Jospeh (our trail guide the last couple of days) to dinner. We spent a couple of hours in good conversation while enjoying a great dinner at the Moab Brewery.
